Addison’s facilities span across the North West and Teesside and employ over 250 people. The company manages turn-key projects up to the value of £50M and are committed to delivering exceptional levels of customer service and quality of product, which is highly competitive. The success of the company is driven by employing the most efficient working methods and creating a challenging whilst highly rewarding environment for our highly skilled engineers, who are our greatest assets. We use state of the art equipment, always striving to constantly improve and work very closely with our customers to add value to their businesses. This approach generates trust throughout our customers and in turn reciprocates and rewards us with increased orders.
Above all safety is our number one priority and through our design teams we engineer out unplanned events, where the greatest risks are found. It is no coincidence that we have received the prestigious ROSPA Presidents Award for our excellent safety record for 14 consecutive years.
Our success in recent years has resulted in the need to grow the business. Marcus Addison comments:
“Our brand new R&D Precision Machining Facility marks a new chapter in Addison’s 35 year history. This new facility manufactures high precision parts for the Aerospace and Medical Industry. We were delighted that the Prime Minister took time out of his busy schedule and agreed to perform our opening ceremony here today.
He showed real enthusiasm around our activities here at Addison and was genuinely interested in the machined components we manufacture, particularly for the Medical Industry where 95% of parts are exported globally”.
The Prime Minister joked “these dental parts are very interesting, I may need one of these myself one day!” The Prime Minster gave a speech in front of the company’s 250 staff and said “I am delighted to be opening this world class facility today. It is top performing privately owned companies like Addison which create jobs and spearhead the manufacturing sector forward, a vital ingredient in our country’s success”.
This expansion means that Addison requires skilled engineers to fill these new vacancies as the company continues to expand.
