Acid Effluent Treatment Project

Description

Addison Project were approached by our client to complete an EFS (Engineering Feasibility Study) to ascertain the feasibility of increasing the crude brine supply to plant from one feed to three.  This was required to accommodate increased demand but also to achieve different qualities of brine.  It therefore involved a change in design philosophy, hence our involvement in process design.  Once the project was sanctioned Addison were engaged by our client as principal contractor to complete the works through to commissioning of the plant.

Project Scope

Our role as principal contractor also included multi discipline design, including process, civil structural, mechanical and control electrical.  Addison also completed the project management and planning duties, procurement of all equipment and contracts on the project and construction management of the trades on site, including CDM supervision and co-ordination.

  • GRP tank purchase (8.0m Ø x 15.685m)
  • Steel works including steel structure, pipe supports and platform with GRP flooring
  • Civil works including bund for large GRP tank, plinths and chemical finishes.
